Year-round Fennel
Leonardo and Botticelli
Fennel growers are familiar with the Leonardo winter variety – a fennel variety that is planted in the heart of winter from the beginning of October until the end of December. Leonardo’s head is round, solid, has excellent uniformity and a snow-white color (which is why consumers and retailers love it).
Botticelli is a new fennel variety intended for spring planting, very solid and early (harvested after only 70 days!), It has a round shape and an impressive white head. In addition to Leonardo and Botticelli, we are testing new fennel varieties from the cultivation program of HMC (a sister company in the Limagrain Group), and in the near future we will be able to offer varieties adapted to all seasons.
